In our former site, we briefly discussed indoor positioning employing Bluetooth beacons. To recap, a beacon is a small Bluetooth radio transmitter, run by small batteries. A Bluetooth beacon has no location intelligence designed into it. Their performance is similar to that of the lighthouse, which suggests they transmit Bluetooth indicators around
